Cadillac was founded in 1902 and was purchased by General Motors in 1909. It is often considered America’s luxury brand. Cadillac is the oldest automotive brand in the United States, following Buick. Some of Cadillac’s best selling models are the ELR Coupe, CTS Coupe, and the Cadillac Escalade. The Cadillac CTS is the one car that brings in, and has been bringing the most revenue for the brand. The 2016 model offers more technology to the driver than ever before. Safety features such as Reverse Blind Spot Monitoring, Magnetic Ride and Stability Control, Forward Collision Monitoring, multiple airbags, a high quality sound system, a tuned exhaust, and a look that would scare most people into driving much faster than the posted speed limit. All jokes aside the CTS is what I call the TRUE representation of Swag. It has style, class, grace under pressure, power, sophistication, control, and above all, the ability to act civil while in foreign lands.
The Cadillac CTS and CTS-V were the true American dignitaries when they visited Germany’s Nurburgring for speed, and control testing. At one point the Cadillac CTS-V briefly held the speed record for the, “Fastest Production Car on Factory Tires” on the world famous treacherous track.
There is a word that has been used by our current, and younger generation so much so that it has bordered on being ridiculous, and that word is Swag. When it comes down to the kids, it represents how low your jeans are, or what type of possessions you have, but it really comes down to style. And today we’re going to use this word, and apply it to a brand name that has always been about Swag.
Used Cadillacs for sale in St Louis
Many of you out there have been keeping an eye on the Cadillac brand, and pretty much want to know which car of the brand is selling the most units, and that my friends would be the Cadillac CTS. For quite some time the Cadillac brand was stuck in a rut with their whole quacking duck logo, and it took some serious minds to bring forth the car that would change the world forever.
The Cadillac Catera was a weak minded car that just couldn’t cut it anywhere it was found. The lack of style, and power led many to believe that Cadillac would soon be on the chopping block, but enter the, “Art & Science” program, and the CTS was born.
The Cadillac CTS, and CTS-V were designed with cutting edge performance, and sharp angular lines as well. A fact that a lot of people tend to forget is how General Motors won the automotive movie bid for the Matrix franchise, and they immediately slotted in the Cadillac CTS as one of the main chase scene cars. That chase scene had a brand new Cadillac CTS be riddled with bullets, drive with a flat tire, go head to head with a Chevy Impala, and then get its roof ripped off, all while traveling over 75MPH!!!
After everything is said and done, the kids are asleep, the dog is laying down, and the end of the day has come knocking at your door, the Cadillac CTS will be the brand’s number one selling car, hands down. If you’re looking to achieve a new level of Swag that a German car simply cannot give you then, you have no choice but to turn to Cadillac for your automotive fix.
